SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Evangel men's basketball team continues road action Wednesday at Baker.

OPENING STORYLINES
► Evangel continues its road swing Wednesday at Baker as the Crusaders lead the all-time series 47-17. Last season, the Wildcats swept the season series with the Crusaders.

Justin Washington (Springfield, Mo.) averaged a double-double last week with 24 ppg and 14 rpg. Washington scored 30 points for the second time this season as he ranks 8th nationally in rebounding and 36th in scoring.

Dylan Bekemeier (Republic, Mo.) scored a career-high 31 points in Saturday's loss at Peru State. Bekemeier extended his streak of seven straight games in double figures.

► Of the 15 losses for Evangel this season, only five have been more than 10 points. In addition, in the 15 losses, six have been by four points or less and all nine of the single-digit losses have been by fewer than eight points.

LOOKING AHEAD
Evangel stays in the Heart South Division and finishes a three-game road swing on Saturday at Missouri Valley. Tipoff from Marshall, Missouri, is scheduled for 4 p.m.
