Ryan Frye Earns Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete Honor

KANSAS CITY – Junior outfielder, Ryan Frye, was named Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete Wednesday as announced by the organization.

Frye was voted to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team earlier this month while also excelling on the field. The junior also earned All-Heart Honorable Mention accolades as an outfielder after leading the Crusaders with a .441 batting average.

In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved junior academic status.
