SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Evangel men's basketball team looks for a season sweep against Baker on Wednesday night in the home regular-season finale.

► Evangel closes out its home regular season schedule Wednesday looking for a season sweep against Baker. The Crusaders won 78-72 at Baker last month and also look to snap a four-game skid.

Dylan Bekemeier (Republic, Mo.) is 41 points shy of 1,000 for his career after shooting a career-best 42 percent from behind the three-point line. His 61 three-pointers rank 12th most in a single season and are 18 assists shy of becoming the 13th Crusader to record 300 assists in a career.

Marcus Miller (Republic, Mo.) has moved into eighth place on the Evangel career blocks list with 53. He is currently tied with Chad Gillaspy (2007-11) and Dave Langenbahn (1983-84; 86-89).

► The 2018 Heart Postseason Tournament will consist of all 14 teams for one season and return to the top 10 teams next season with the departure of Avila. The top team in each division receives a bye as North and South teams 2-7 play opposite division teams in the first round. The tournament is then reseeded 1-8 with the overall best record being the No. 1 seed.

Evangel heads north to Clarke University on Saturday to close out the regular season. Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m.
