SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Evangel University Athletics and Mediacom Connections 22 of Springfield have announced the schedule of basketball games for the regional cable TV operation.
MC22 will air taped replays starting with Tuesday night's men's and women's basketball double-header as the women host Stephens College and the men host College of the Ozarks. The games will air starting at 7 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, and then at 2 p.m. on Friday.
The scheduled games also include three Heart of America Athletic Conference games during the season starting December 15 against Mount Mercy. The Crusaders host Baker on Jan. 24 and Grand View on Feb. 16 to round out the broadcast schedule with MC22.
"This is a great partnership with Mediacom that will continue to help Evangel basketball and Evangel University extend its reach throughout the Midwest," added assistant director of athletics Phillip Dowden. "We are blessed to work with a great team here in the Springfield Mediacom office. Helping add our games to their network, while also serving communities around the Heart of America Conference footprint really is a win-win."
Mediacom Connections 22 will air rebroadcast of each Evangel game the following day, and then again one more time as dictated by the schedule. The regional cable network can be seen in Springfield and Columbia as well as northern Missouri, in addition to Des Moines, Cedar Rapids, Dubuque, Iowa, and areas in Kansas and Illinois.
The package joins Evangel games that can already be seen on OTT Apps such as Apple TV, Roku, and Amazon Fire by downloading the Team1Sports App or The Heart Network App. Online coverage of all Evangel home games can also be seen online at www.EvangelAthletics.com/Watch.
