DES MOINES, Iowa – The Evangel men's soccer team fell 4-0 Saturday night in the regular season finale at Grand View.

Both teams held each other scoreless in the first half of the final day of Heart of America Athletic Conference action. However, the Vikings were able to break free with four goals in the second half to earn its 10th win of the year.

Grand View scored early in the second half on a goal from Simone Raiola in the 47th minute. Raiola scored twice for the Vikings including the final goal of the match.

The game got away from Evangel in the 63rd minute when the Vikings scored three times between the 63rd minute and the 68th minute.

The Crusaders finished tied with Graceland for the final spot in next week's Heart Postseason Tournament, but the Yellowjackets hold the tiebreaker over Evangel thanks to a 2-1 win over the Crusaders last month.

Evangel equaled its win total from last season but improved in conference play winning three games in the Heart. As a team, the Crusaders improved defensively setting single-season records with 45 goals allowed and a .706 save percentage.

Individually Josiah Dinwiddie allowed just 38 goals allowed breaking Ryan Harrisskitt's record of 48 last season.

Senior Kyler Moore finishes his career as the all-time leader in points (34) and goals (15). Joining Moore with the record for assists is fellow seniors John De La Torre and Dominic Federici with four career assists.
