Four Softball Crusaders Earn Daktronics Scholar-Athlete Honors

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Four Evangel softball student-athletes were honored for their hard work in the classroom being named Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes.

Seniors, Allison Davis, and Michelle Sheppard earned their second Scholar-Athlete honor, while juniors AJ Carpenter and Taylor Good both earned their first. 

In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved junior academic status.
