SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Local standout Taylor Arnold has signed with Evangel women's basketball as part of the 2019-20 signing class as announced by head coach Megan Leuzinger on Wednesday.
Arnold will complete her senior season this year at Blue Eye High School where she has already collected all-district honors during her junior season with the Bulldogs and her sophomore season at Nixa High School. She was also named first-team all-Southwest Central League last season and All-Tri-Lakes.
Before moving to Blue Eye she averaged 10 points per game at Nixa High each season. For the Bulldogs, she averaged just over 16 points per game and 3.5 rebounds per game. She has also been a standout in the classroom as a member of the National Honor Society and carries a 4.0 GPA.
Arnold is the second addition to the 2019-20 class joining Courtney Austin from Buffalo, Missouri.
