SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – A trio of second-half goals allowed Culver-Stockton to pull away from the Evangel women's soccer team Saturday, finishing a 4-0 win.

The Crusaders held the Wildcats to just one goal in the first half, however three second-half goals including one coming just 15 seconds into the half. CSC extended its lead late with a fourth goal in the 83rd minute from Jamie Gilley to give the score its final 4-0 mark.

It was the third time this season Evangel was shutout in a loss, not including the scoreless tie against LSU-Alexandria.

CSC finished with 12 shots and eight coming on goal as five of Evangel's eight shots were on goal in the loss.

Caitlyn Cox added one save, but was charged with three goals allowed in the second-half. Josie Gregory finished with three saves and one goal allowed in net.

Evangel heads back on the road Tuesday to conference foe Missouri Valley. Action is scheduled to start at 6 p.m.
