Evangel Women’s Soccer Dominates in Season Opener

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Crusaders had a strong offensive performance to lead them to their first win of the season against Hannibal-La Grange.

Six different Crusaders found the back of the net, led by Amber Ellis who scored twice. The Cruaders scored four goals in the first half, three in the span of six minutes. Kennedy Strain put the Crusaders on the board first in the 11th minute. Bianca Biffert, assisted by Allie Pritchett, and Alyson Reinold both scored in the 17th minute, and then Becca Tucker scored in the 42nd minute to end the first half.

Amber Ellis would score her first of two goals in the 65th minute, and the second just minutes later off an assist from Sedona Townsend. The final goal came in the 77th minute by Malaya Skidmore off a pass in front of the goal by Bianca Biffert.

Charlsey Seidel notched two saves on two shots on goal.
