Evangel Women’s Soccer Dictates The Game Against Williams Baptist

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Crusaders had another strong offensive performance to lead them in their second game of the season against Williams Baptist in a 6-0 win.

The Crusaders scored six goals by six different players. Brooklyn Barnett opened the scoring in the 11th minute off an assist from Rachel Williams. In 25th minute, Sedona Townsend doubled the lead from a pass from Alyson Reinold. To finish the first half scoring, Becca Tucker drove in a pass from Kennedy Strain to make it 3-0.

The second half followed much like the first. Grace Wright scored in 60th minute, and then four minutes later so did Maya Davidson. Amber Ellis finished off the scoring with a spectacular strike from 25 yards out.

Both Charlsey Seidel and Joran Stout-Mitchell spend time in goal, with each recording one save in one shot on goal.

The Crusaders will take on LSU-Alexandria on Sept. 8 at Coryell Field.
