Four Evangel Track and Field Athletes Named Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Four Evangel University track and field athletes were honored as Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes for outstanding achievement in the classroom.

Three Crusader women, Allison Newport, Jordan Fiorani, and Madison Proben joined Jalen Gifford on the men's side to earn honors. 

In order to be nominated by an institutiona student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status to qualify for this honor.
