Volleyball Quartet Earns All-Conference Honors

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Junior Heather Gahm was named to the All-Heart Second Team Tuesday as the conference released its end of season awards.

Gahm (Lena, Ill.) finished her junior season leading the Crusades with 426 kills where she also ranked 27th nationally and averaged 2.96 kills per set. She also added 59 blocks on the defensive side of the net.

Also, earning Honorable Mention honors for the Crusaders were Olivia Johnston (Rogersville, Mo.), Bridget Petersen (Omaha, Neb.), and Jorden Stacey (Fair Grove, Mo.). Johnston was second for Evangel with 371 kills as Petersen and Stacey were leaders on the defensive side of the net. Petersen led the Crusaders with 98 blocks as Stacey finished with 775 digs, the seventh best mark in NAIA and averaged 5.3 digs per set.
