Evangel Volleyball Climbs Back on the Winning Track in 3-0 Sweep at William Penn

OSKALOOSA, Iowa -- The Evangel volleyball team got back on the winning track Friday night with a 3-0 win at William Penn in Heart of America Athletic Conference action.

The Crusaders found a way Friday night as they were able to sweep the Statemen 25-20, 25-21, 27-25. Evangel has now won nine of its last 11 games and more importantly improved to 3-1 in conference play.

Tori Lowry led Evangel with 13 kills and 13 digs for her fifth double-double of the season. Freshman Gabby Massengale also was impressive hitting at a .421 clip with 10 kills and a block, while Daisy Eklund added 10 kills as well.

Both setters helped pace the offense with McKenna Miller adding 28 assists and Victoria Fishback finishing with 21 in the win.
