Killian Softball Complex
Operated by the Springfield-Greene County Park Board, Killian Softball Stadium features seating for up to 1,200 spectators. The home of Missouri State softball, Killian Softball Stadium has played host to the Missouri Valley Softball Tournament and is a possible host for NCAA Regional. Designed by Springfield firm Pellham-Phillips Architects & Engineers, the Killian Stadium project was part of a department-wide effort to upgrade the city's recreational facilities. The redesigned Killian complex features surface improvements, upgraded lighting, coaches' offices, a training room and locker facilities. The new and improved facility serves not only the Bears but also houses the Park Board's softball leagues and plays host to numerous national tournaments in the Queen City.
